Tom Turner (tomturner@gmail.com) and Dave Richards (rodaverich@comcast.net) are Co-chairs of the SEMG Political Committee. The committee meets on the second Wednesday of most months. meetings are open to the public; any interested person can attend. For email notice & agenda, ask Tom Turner – tomturner@gmail.com.

The meeting location is Jimi’s Restaurant, 714 S Washington Ave, Royal Oak, MI. meetings start at 6:30 pm, with the first half hour used for ordering food and general conversation. The formal meeting begins at 7:00 pm. Check the SEMG Calendar for changes or cancellations.

There are several very useful resources for anyone in SE Michigan who is interested in and active in local politics. To start with, the state government publishes a “Guide to State Government” that has maps of congressional and state legislative districts, contact information for all of these legislators, and much more.
